Summertime fun....

Collin will be 2o months tomorrow. How time flies when your having so much fun. I never knew I would have so much fun as I am this summer with Collin. Collin is now talking all the time. He wakes up talking to us in his crib. I love it. He can even say a whole sentence. Right now he is starting the terrible two's and its very hard to ignore the tantrums and the screaming of "no." Even though we have a few rough moments during the day he makes up for it by giving hugs, kisses and telling us he "ovs us." (loves us) Collin loves to sing and be sung to. He favorite songs to sing are "Jesus Loves Me and Head Shoulders Knees and Toes." Trying to keep him busy is hard when its so hot outside. We normally spend our days at the zoo, pool, storybook time, playing play-dough or going to the children's museum. It's so nice to have friends who have little ones the same age. It's fun for the kids and the mommy's too to have someone to spend the days with.

Sweet Summer Time

Summer is here and I am so excited. I get to spend everyday with my baby boy. He is actually not a baby anymore, but he will always be a baby to me. Just last night Rodney and I looked at each other while Collin was playing and said "he is no longer a baby, he is now a little boy." Collin is now 19 months and is full of energy all day long. He is saying two to three words at a time. Dancing and singing to music and loves to read books. We bought Collin a new big boy pool with a slide for the summer and he is not afraid of anything, which is quite scary at times. He goes head first down the slide in the pool. He thinks its funny to go under the water and poor it all over his face. I have been trying to plan each day out with a fun activity. I am lucky enough to have a good friend who is in the same boat as me and is trying to keep her little boy busy too. We have already been to the zoo and to story time. We have many more activities and places planned out for the boys. It's going to be a summer to remember.
